Settled In

Hello Everyone! I have been back from the rock tour for a couple of weeks now. It was amazing. My job there was to play live music and teach kids how to play music in the free time.

Right now I am just working at Steiger. Were planning to go to a few festivals this summer. In August Derek and I are going to Sweden to represent Steiger. That will be great. I start school in the fall and I am very excited about that. Well that is it for now. Talk to you soon!

Warum hallo alle! (Why hello everyone!)

Hi everyone. I am just here in Karlsruhe still hangin out. My friend Austina and I are getting closer to finishing the interior of the recording studio. It is pretty cool. It has been beautiful here. Really hot and sunny. This Saturday (August 23rd), we have a Tea party. It is outside in the courtyard. It is pretty cool. People come from all over Karlsruhe. We hang out drink tea and play music. I leave with other people from Steiger on the Rock Tour this Monday. I am pretty excited. I have met some pretty cool people. I am trying to learn german. I am going to try and take some classes. Alright well I will keep posting up blogs every once and a while to keep those who are interested informed on what I am doing!

Hello again everybody!

It is really cool here in Karlsruhe, Germany. Right now here at Steiger we are building a recording studio. My friend Austin and I are working on it. It is going to be pretty nice. I am hoping to work and learn in it when it is done. We have a Tea Party this weekend. People from all over the community come and we have it outside and in the church that we have here at Steiger. It is really cool from what I have heard.

Last weekend I was a wine fest in Weinsberg, Germany and stayed with a few friends of me and Austin. It was really fun, and really beautiful. There are vineyard everywhere. There are a few pictures on  my facebook you can check out if you wan to see.

I'm here!!!

Hallo all!In Deutschland im!

I am here in Germany. It is beautiful here. I am in city called Karlsruhe (which is southwest Germany). I live 20 minutes away from france. It is really nice here. Yesterday it was 80 degrees out and sunny.

As you may know I am living here at a missions organization. I am not quite sure yet what they are going to have me do, but as far as I know I will help keep up with the building we all live in here. We are starting to build a recording studio here, so I am helping with that. We are going on a this "Black Forest Rock Tour", which is a tour throughout the Black Forest. We have to prepare to go on that. It is about two weeks.

It is really cool. Everyone here loves music. A lot of people are into more grunge and hardcore music though. Everyone here speaks hardcore German. My two friends and I are the only three "real americans". Hah, so sometimes that is hard.

So ya that is it for now. I will keep posting blogs every once and a while so you guys can see what I am up to.
